Pork Chops and Rice

Even the most incompetent man can’t mess this one up.  I know, I know, practice makes perfect, but still.  If this comes out wrong for you, put Domino’s back on speed dial and sell your cookware.  Sure you can still grill out, but that’s pretty much it.Pork Chops with Rice

  • 4-6 center cut pork chops
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice (can substitute brown)
  • 1 package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Spray a 9×13 baking pan with butter flavored Pam
  3. Sprinkle uncooked rice across bottom of pan
  4. Put pork chops on top of rice
  5. Distribute onion mix over pork chops
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup and 2 cans of water
  7. Pour mixture over the top of the pork chops
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes
  9. Reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake for 1 hour longer
  10. Uncover for last 15 minutes

I like this with corn on the cob!
